Modern E-commerce Store

Overview

Nexton is a full-stack modern e-commerce platform built to empower brands and entrepreneurs to launch fast, customizable online stores.

The Spark

Focused on building a portfolio of real-world projects, I created Nexton using a polished community Figma design to prove I can deliver an agency-ready, high-performance e-commerce platform.

The Challenge

No specific client problem drove this project — it was a self-set goal to build a simple yet powerful flow for anyone wanting a unique online store, whether solo sellers or agencies creating stores for clients.

My Role

Position: Full-stack developer (frontend focus)
Mode: Solo build
Constraints: None — self-directed to showcase and push my skills

Approach & Process

  • Frontend: Next.js 15 with App Router, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript
  • Backend: Supabase for authentication, storage, and realtime
  • Design: Adapted a high-fidelity Figma design for responsiveness and accessibility
  • Mindset: Balanced frontend polish with backend integration for a scalable solution

Key Features

  • Seamless product browsing, cart, and checkout flows
  • Supabase-powered authentication and data management
  • Responsive and customizable UI using Tailwind CSS
  • Scalable architecture suitable for agencies and solo sellers

The Outcome

  • Performance: 90+ Lighthouse score ensuring fast load times and smooth UX
  • Reusability: Easily rebrandable and deployable for diverse clients
  • Quality: Polished interface boosting credibility and conversion potential

Reflection

Nexton sharpened my skill in merging design fidelity with backend functionality.
It reinforced the value of scalable, maintainable code and user-centric flows.

  • Richer product customization
